Submission deadline: July 1, 2011
Guidelines: Name, grade (if applicable) & contact information must accompany artwork.
All posters not to exceed 11” x 17” and must include:
- 2011 Unexpected Unforgettable Ethnic Expo
- October 7th & 8th
- Host Country - USA
Acrylics, oils, watercolors, pastels, drawings, printmaking and digital art. No video/film, wearable art (clothing or jewelry). All artwork must be covered and clearly labeled and will remain the property of the Ethnic Expo Board.
The purpose of this contest is to create a general promotional poster and image for this year’s Ethnic Expo. The winning submission will become the official artwork used to promote the 2011 Ethnic Expo.
Winner will ride in the parade and receive special recognition at the Judge’s stand.
Judging: Poster submissions will be judged on their originality, creative integrity and overall capacity to embrace the essence of Ethnic Expo. Winner will be selected on July 15th.
A short bio of the winning artist will be included in the Expo brochure.
