Ethnic Expo 2021 is a series of events celebrating cultures that come together in Columbus, Indiana to create a vibrant, welcoming community. Ethnic Expo is one of the largest and most beloved local festivals. The new format of several smaller events has been adopted in 2021 and is designed to address Covid safety concerns.
Each event in the series will highlight a particular nationality or ethnicity. With input and participation from local residents, we will feature authentic foods, music, and programs that represent the traditions of the featured cultures.

The Ethnic Expo series will take place along the 4th Street entertainment corridor in downtown Columbus on four weekends in the summer/ fall of 2021. This new format provides the extra benefit of drawing people into the heart of the downtown business district to support our local restaurants and shops.

2021 Ethnic Expo events include the following:
June 19 – Juneteenth – in partnership with Columbus/Bartholomew NAACP
August 28 – Chinese Expo – in partnership with Columbus Chinese Association
September 11 – Ganesh Festival of India– in partnership with Columbus Ganesh Mandal
October 2 – Fiesta Latina – in partnership with Community Education Coalition and Su Casa
